Choptank Health announces new Federalsburg Health Center planned
A sign on Federalsburg’s Hayman Ave. marks the future site of a new health care facility for Choptank Community Health System, based in Denton, Md. The new community health center is supported with federal funding and will include expanded parking and spaces for medical and dental services, with a spring 2024 anticipated completion date. Choptank Community Health receives William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award
Choptank Community Health System has been recognized for its leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic with the Comptroller of Maryland’s 2020 William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award for Caroline County. Choptank Community Health received the recognition at a July 13 virtual presentation with Comptroller Peter Franchot.
Choptank Health partners with Health Dept. to vaccinate migrant workers

Choptank Health receives Todd Fund grant for HVAC upgrades

Choptank Health welcomes Director of new Behavioral Health Services
Vicki Rahenkamp, MA, LCPC, CCTP has joined Choptank Community Health System as Director of Behavioral Health Services, a new division joining Choptank Health’s medical, pediatric, and dental services.
Behavioral health care focuses on the connection between behaviors and overall health. Choptank Health’s new Behavioral Health Services division will provide patients with individual (children and adults), family, and couples counseling.
